University College of Engineering Bharathidasan Institute of Technology Campus Anna University is a public college established in the year 1999. The institute is a constituent college of Anna University. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is also known as Anna University BIT Campus. Three departments: Department of Biotechnology, Department of Petrochemical Technology and Department of Pharmaceutical Technology are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). As per the official website, Anna University BIT Campus mission is to transform students into competent professional and responsible citizens by focusing on assimilation, analysis, synthesis and dissemination of knowledge to meet societal needs.

It offers 29 courses at UG and PG levels. Some of the courses offered by the college are B.Tech Information Technology, B.E Computer Science and Engineering, M.B.A., M.Tech. Nanoscience and Technology etc. The institute offers both full-time and part-time programmes. For admission to UG courses, candidates need to participate in TNEA counselling. TANCET scores are accepted for admission to PG courses.
